This truck is powered by a International 240 C.I. 6 cylinder engine.  With our turbo kit the customer reports the ability to burn rubber in 1st and 2nd gear and have as much or more power in 3rd and 4th than a strong V8.

The turbo system in the above photos and videos is running only 8 pounds of boost at the stock RPM. 

CUSTOMERS NOTES

  • Reroute gas and vacuum lines away from turbo.
  • DEI titanium heat wrap is useful around the exhaust pipe and possibly a blanket for the turbo to keep heat away from the battery box and other components.
  • Linkage rod has to be remade or be replaced with a cable and the 1904 carburetor needs to be turned 180 degrees.
  • Power valve in the carburetor needs to be modified so it can read manifold boost pressure and add more fuel to prevent pre-ignition, pinging, and rattling.
